  • SEASONAL MAGIC AT THE DISNEY THEME PARKS

For many Guests, the best time to visit the Disney resorts is during Halloween, or Christmas, or both!  Each of these seasons is bursting with a level of excitement that is unmatched during the rest of the year.

The Halloween and Christmas seasons bring some of the best weather of the year in both Orlando, Florida and Anaheim, California.  The Fall and early Winter weather can be amazingly beautiful, with warm days and cool evenings to enjoy.  And depending on when you plan your visit, you could enjoy smaller crowds in the theme parks during these seasons, and especially at the specially-ticketed events.

There's so much to see and do during these festive seasons, I've put together special sections for Walt Disney World, and for Disneyland, highlighting some of the many special events taking place during the Fall and Winter seasons.  If you'd rather spend your holidays on the high seas, or in a tropical paradise, I can plan a Disney Cruise, or a trip to Disney's Aulani Resort in Hawaii.  I can also plan your Adventures By Disney guided excursion to a variety of U.S. or international destinations.  For more information, and to start planning your magical Disney vaction with a free quote, please contact me via your preferred communication method (phone, text, email, etc.)

  • HOLIDAYS AT THE WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT

Autumn at Walt Disney World means two things: Halloween and Food & Wine. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park takes place on select nights in September and October.  With special character appearances, a unique parade and fireworks show, trick-or-treating and of course, all of your favorite rides, this special ticketed event has been a family favorite for years.

The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival has been tempting the paletts of Epcot guests since 1995. This year's event has been expanded to two months (Sept. 14 - Nov. 14), with food and beverage booths from around the world, culinary demonstrations, and concerts from top-name entertainers, and much more..

Almost immediately after Halloween ends, the entire resort is transformed into a holiday wonderland. At the center of the holiday season is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park.  This separate-ticket yuletide event takes place on select nights in November and December, with special food offerings, a holiday parade and fireworks, meet & greets with your favorite characters, and all your favorite attractions.  The other parks get into the holiday spirit with their own festivities, including the return of the popular Candellight Processional at Epcot, which is held over many nights leading up to Christmas.

In addition to the holiday happenings at all of the Walt Disney World theme parks, the Disney resort hotels are decorated from floor to ceiling with individual themes, that reflect each resort. Plus, enjoy special seasonal menus, as well a holiday merchandise, and surprises around every corner. The all-new Disney Springs shopping, dining and entertaiment district will also be a special destination throughout the holidays.

  • HOLIDAYS AT THE DISNEYLAND RESORT

For more than sixty years, Disneyland has been the gold standard in seasonal celebrations.  From "Halloweentime" to the magic of the Christmas season, early September through the New Years holiday is a time filled with special magic and many surprises.

"Halloweentime" transforms the Disneyland Resort into a "spooky" delight.  Mickey's Halloween Party (on select nights) features thrills and light-hearted chills, with trick or treating, character meet & greets, special fireworks and more. Two iconic Disneyland attractions are transformed during this season.  Space Mountain: Ghost Galaxy turns-up the scary factor on this classic, while Jack Skellington takes-over The Haunted Mansion, with a theme that lasts through the new year.

During Christmas season, the resort is transformed into a yuletide delight, with wall-to-wall decorations in both parks, special holiday parades and entertainment, and endless food and merchandise options (including hand-made candy canes). The annual Candellight Ceremony and Processional takes place in early December.  This event was started by Walt Disney, himself in 1958.  Over at Disney California Adventure, Guests will enjoy Viva Navidad.  A vibrant celebration of Christmas with a Mexican twist.

Plus, two more rides get a special holiday treatment.  Join your favorite jungle skippers as they search for a lost holiday shipment on The Jingle Cruise.  And don't forget to board "the merriest cruise that ever sailed", when you ride the completely transformed "it's a small world holiday".

When you stay in the middle of the magic, at a Disneyland Resort hotel, you will be immersed in the spirit of the season, as each hotel, and the Downtown Disney District are transformed into wonderlands of holiday excitement.
